The Twelve days of Christmas ...

All the gifts of Christmas ...
On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me...
Branches of red Apples
Rotating Swedish Angels
A group of Mermaids chatting
Gainsborough's Boy in Blue
Rather creepy Infants*
A Knight with a wasp-waist
A Cluster of Cherubs
Two spotty gloves
A Halloween biscuit
A nicely-knitted Dragon
A Vampire in a frame and
Some Monkeys in a blue tinsel tree

* One of the tree monkeys decided to join them.

So many thanks for all messages of appreciation. This project has given me much fun and also stands as a little tribute to my friend Andrew Morley, who would have appreciated its random silliness no end.

Special thanks are due to Chris Stell, who has provided me with innumerable lifts to Tynemouth Market, source of several choice items I included. Also Dave Hawley, without whose expertise, generosity and remarkable patience I would neither have a camera nor be able to use one!

In case you notice some changes in personnel, that's because at this time of year things do tend to move about. Hence the little green dragon has happily winged its way south and its place is taken by a smiley bat from (of all places) M&S. The Halloween biscuit has also moved on, fulfilling its destiny in a delicious manner. I replaced it with a jar of pickled walnuts. Somehow that just felt like the right thing to do.

Merry Christmas to All - enjoy your day!
